Academic Courses Offered:

  • Reading, Writing, Language Arts (elementary through ELA 12)

  • Social Studies (elementary, middle, World History 10, US History, Civics, CWI)

  • P.E. and Health (Yoga, General PE, high school Health)

  • Spanish, German (online)

  • Programming (Intro. to Programming, Python I)

Cost: 

  • One class, five times per week: $3,257.50 (0.25 HS credit)

  • One class, ten times per week: $6,515.00 (0.5 HS credit)

  • One class, two times per week: $1,303.00

Summer Camps

For the first time, Yellow Wood will offer half and full-day camps! Summer camps are open to both Yellow Wood and outside students in grades 3-12. 

Daily Schedule:

  • Half day sessions: 9:00am-12:00pm and 12:30-3:30pm 

  • Full day sessions: 9:00am-3:30pm  

  • Morning drop off and pick up: 8:45-9:00am, 12:00-12:15pm

  • Afternoon drop off and pick up: 12:15-12:30pm, 3:30-3:45pm

  • Full day campers: lunch and activities from 12-12:30pm

Cost:

  • $250 per week for half day camps, $500 per week for full day camps

Yellow Wood is proud to offer the Arrowsmith Program for six weeks, from 7/6-8/14.  The Arrowsmith Program is comprised of research-based cognitive exercises designed to help students build core skills like memory, symbol recognition, numeracy and more.  Think of it as physical therapy for your brain!  

Summer Cognitive Intensive Program (Full day, six weeks)

  • Grades 4-12

  • Schedule: 8:30-3:15

  • Format: Online and hands-on cognitive exercise work with fun movement breaks built in

  • Cost: $7,500 for six weeks, five days per week

  • Note: new students will complete the Clocks exercise, while returning students will build on previous progress in the program using other exercises.

Summer Cognitive Intensive Program (Half day, three weeks)

  • Grades 4-12

  • Schedule: 8:30-11:30am or 12:30-3:30pm

  • Format: Online and hands-on cognitive exercise work with fun movement breaks built in

  • Cost: $2,000 for three weeks, five half days per week

  • Note: new students will complete the Clocks exercise, while returning students will build on previous progress in the program using other exercises.
